CA Film shoots

Hi Everyone! We just had two more film shoots: one on May 29th, and one today, May 31st! Both shoots went very well and we fixed a bunch. On May 29th, we had a few costume issues, and one of our actors had a migraine. But thankfully God helped us a lot! Our actor felt much better after a few hours, and we got everything done! Things we fixed from May 25th: Stayed on topic, Saved time for a longer lunch break! Brought an extra version of the script! (thanks Katheryne Smith!) Took more behind the scenes footage with the new 'Behind the Scenes Camera'! Today (May 31st) we had an awesome shoot! We had a ton of fun! First, in the morning, we filmed the CA scene at the creek (at the bottom of our street), and then we ate lunch. After that, we went inside and filmed the inside scenes planned for today! We got done 45min early, and ended up having a very interesting conversation about a LOTR club that some of us are starting! :-) Today, while everyone was still here,

Things we've learned while filming CA.

So far, we've already had two CA shoots. One on May 6th, and one on May 25th. Each day after we finish filming, we go around in a circle, asking everyone to name one good thing about the day, and one thing that could have been better. So I decided to post a blog post each shoot about what was fixed  from the last shoots. Here was the list of things that we fixed from May 6th on the May 25th shoot. 1. We only had crew members and actors on set. 2. We didn't talk or mess around. 3. We stayed on topic (for the most part! :D) 4.  We put away the noise making chainsaw and glockenspiel before the shoot! Next time we have a shoot, hopefully we will have fixed all of the issues from the May 25th shoot as well. Happy Learning!

What NOT to do when location scouting!!

Image
Today my sister and I went location scouting. Two exciting things happened.   1. We got permission to film in a Donut store! YAY!     2. We learned a lesson when trying to find a location for our first scene, which occurs outdoors in a field. We decided to look around at the fields surrounding the creek, at the bottom of our street. We found a 6ft ditch in our path, with some tall grass in it. I had forgotten to wear boots, so I decided I better jump this 'ditch'. I missed, my foot landed about 3/4 the way across the ditch in PURE MUCK, and I found out very fast that this was no mere 'ditch'. This was the creek! Wow. Messy Mistake. Good thing I asked Mary to hold the camera while I jumped! Here's a picture I took before I rolled up my muddy jeans and took off my shoe. I really could have been a lot worse off! Thankfully I didn't lose my balance and go face first into the creek. :-) Lesson learned: Don't jump across a 6ft ditch full of mud

Q&A about Cyber Attack!

Hey guys! Here is a Q&A list to give you a little more information about Cyber Attack! Q. What can you tell us about the plot of Cyber Attack? A. Cyber Attack is a film about how some hackers try to hack into the pentagon, so the US government has to hire three agents, whose job it is to find and destroy the hackers. Q. Who are your lead actors? A. Maria Cutrone is playing the role of 'Ecco Grae', Luke Gonzalez is playing, 'Matthew Nordahl', and Colleen Flynn is playing, 'Carrie Ford'. These are the three agents. There is also the main antagonist, 'Bob Rodav' being played by Chris Wilder, and the protagonist boss 'General Hampton', being played by John Paul Vining. Q. What inspired you to create Cyber Attack? A. We needed something in a modern setting that wouldn't be too hard to make, and I had just taken a course, for fun, on  how to protect yourself from Cyber Criminals. And then Luke was really into hackers a
