Q&A about Cyber Attack!
Hey guys! Here is a Q&A list to give you a little more information about Cyber Attack!
Q. What can you tell us about the plot of Cyber Attack?
A. Cyber Attack is a film about how some hackers try to hack into the pentagon, so the US government has to hire three agents, whose job it is to find and destroy the hackers.
Q. Who are your lead actors?
A. Maria Cutrone is playing the role of 'Ecco Grae', Luke Gonzalez is playing, 'Matthew Nordahl', and Colleen Flynn is playing, 'Carrie Ford'. These are the three agents. There is also the main antagonist, 'Bob Rodav' being played by Chris Wilder, and the protagonist boss 'General Hampton', being played by John Paul Vining.
Q. What inspired you to create Cyber Attack?
A. We needed something in a modern setting that wouldn't be too hard to make, and I had just taken a course, for fun, on how to protect yourself from Cyber Criminals. And then Luke was really into hackers at the time, so we started by making the characters, and their backgrounds, and the story evolved from there.
Q. Is there anything else you would like to tell us about Cyber Attack?
A. It's our first film over ten minutes, and it's quite a big project. If you add up the documented time each team member spent on this project, we have already spent over 8,000 hours! We've talked to three professionals in filmmaking. Jim Morlino, Actor, screenwriter, Director and President of Navis Pictures read and made comments on our script, Richard Bailey, independent professional filmmaker gave us tips on cinematography, lighting, sets. etc. And also Mr. Mores, who is the head of a production company in Dallas talked to us about auditioning actors, writing the script, finding music, organizing footage, etc. He also gave us some very useful advice about costumes. We are so excited to have an original music score by Diego Campos! He is composing the music over the summer, and is already hard at work preparing themes! This is the first film JVGPictures has produced with an original soundtrack!
Q. Can you compare the size of this production to other films JVGPictures has made? (preferably ones on YouTube so people know what films you're talking about. you will also probably need to talk about the size of the projects you compare this with. for example, how long it took to plan certain aspects, how long it took to film, how many actors were involved/how many roles were there, etc.)
A. CA has definitely been our biggest project, from all aspects. Before this, our longest film had been about ten minutes long, and had involved only about 10 people, which is only two families. Our hardest project before this had involved about 6 families, and 25 kids. We spent about a week on our biggest project, planning included! You can compare this to CA, and you'll see that if you add up all of the family members of the actors, you get about 120 people who are 'involved'. We have 38 kids acting in the film, and then we've also got a whole bunch of crew members as well. And as I said before, we've already spent over 8,000 hrs on this, and we've hardly begun to film. And, we've got professional advice. So this is definitely JVGPictures' largest and most in depth project from all points of view!
Happy Filmmaking!
The CA Team
