Jan. Film Meet Video: Elizabeth and Zachariah

February Film Meet
Hey ya'll! February's film was so much fun! It was held at my house, and we really learned a lot. The younger kids (age 11 and under) made an Olympic fails video. It was directed by Bernadette Lourdes. The older kids (age 12-15) filmed just a few shots, working on high quality, of a short film depicting Psalm 23. It was great for everyone to try a different crew position than usual. Positions were as follows: Producer: Clare Vining Co-Producer: Mary Vining Director: Jacob Gura Lighting crew: Jacinta Fatima and Meadow Flowers Cinematography: John Green Screenwriters: Mary and Clare Vining Director of Photography: Clare and Mary Vining Set designer and builder: Clare Vining We will be finishing filming this short at future meets. We also sang 'Silent Night' for the 2017 Christmas Reenactment, directed by Katheryne Smith. Altogether, we had so much fun! Film Meet, 'Seek First' Updates, and More!
Hey guys! Film meet for this month will be held on February 17th! I can't wait to see everyone! We will start taking notes on what we have learned, as later some of our members hope to write a book on filmmaking! The script is now 28 pages long, and I am 2/3 of the way through. Then it will be time to 'Kill My Darlings', of which there are many. :-) I have a lot of cutting to do, like on Cyber Attack, which went from 80 to 39 pages. ITS A GOOD THING WE DID THAT THOUGH, thanks to Jim Morlino! We could never have finished filming the 80 page version of CA over the summer! This time I have to cut about as much. At this rate, when I've finished the first draft it should be about 45 pages. I need it to end up being about 15 pages! ~WOW!~ Once I finish the Seek First script...
